Wholesale Long Distance



Wholesale Long Distance from NRTC provides you with unbranded and unbundled, originating and terminating access, plus transport of calls over the AT&T switched network. Services available under contract include:

  • Outbound service with unbranded directory assistance
  • Inbound service that includes domestic and international toll-free service 
  • Fraud and uncollectibles management service 
  • Daily call detail records (CDRs) on completed calls that are collected from the AT&T switched network and made available to carriers for billing

NRTC's Wholesale Long Distance platform uses the AT&T core network, the largest communications network in the world. This "self-healing" and dynamic rerouting network is recognized as the benchmark in the industry for quality and reliability and completes 99.98 percent of calls on the first attempt. NRTC takes particular pride in providing access to:

  • State-of-the-art switches to route long distance calls in the United States 
  • Over 97 percent of all traffic runs over fiber-optic lines

  • Call Processing Features for Outbound Service—Includes call screening and blocking, authorization codes, and account codes 
  • Enhanced CIC Routing—Permits operator services and directory assistance calls to be routed through NRTC's Wholesale Long Distance Service to a carrier's selected third-party platform 
  • Dial-Around Blocking—Provides the ability to block (101-XXXX) 1+calls identified by the LEC as a dial-around call, available on a CIC-by-CIC basis 
  • 700 PIC Verification-Lets your end users verify their long distance and regional toll call provider assignment using the industry standard PIC verification number
